Tulum
I love to travel—to see new places, breathe in new air, expand my perspective. Travel offers a myriad of health benefits, promoting learning, enhancing adaptability, and even sharpening problem-solving skills. It also has the power to strengthen relationships and spark creativity.
A while back, I had the pleasure of visiting Tulum with my best friend, Michelle Dirkse. We're good travel buddies and can make even the most mundane trips to the dump or thrift store fun. But Tulum was no ordinary place. Our adventure through this Mexican jewel was incredibly inspiring. Swimming in crystal-clear cenotes, exploring ancient ruins, and lounging on the beach—these experiences turned into vivid memories, begging to be preserved. I captured our journey with paint on paper, and Michelle transformed these visual stories into a stunning fabric and wallpaper line.
